Fairburn Activity and Conference Centre Ltd is a new company taking over the existing business of Fairburn Activity Centre which commenced trading in October 1994, using the converted stable building near Fairburn House Nursing Home as a base for the provision of multi-activity holidays.

The Centre was originally set up to offer customers a complete holiday package with full board, accommodation and activities all included in the price.  Guests are accommodated in the Centre’s 14 twin bedrooms – all rooms having TV, tea/coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower.  The surrounding woodlands and the Strathconon Glen provide the venues for the outdoor activities.

In addition to this, over the years the Centre has also developed activities and facilities for educational visits and corporate team building and management events.  The Centre offers excellent conference and meeting facilities for organisations and corporate clients both locally and outwith the area.

During January 2006 the Centre experienced a change, coming under new ownership to take it forward to its next stage of development. October 2007 sees the introduction of Fairburn Lodge offering new products to the tourism and leisure market.

Allen Perrin is the sole Director and owner of the new company.  Allen has previously worked with the centre, both as a client and also as a freelance instructor since 2001. 

Director Profile

Allen has a creative background, originating at St Martins School of Art in London. He has extensive experience in the world of graphic design having worked across a range of major companies including Thames Television, through to running his own very successful design agency in 1992.

Allen has always been involved with training, both inside and outside the work environment. A forward thinker, he has a creative approach to problem solving from conception through to completion.

Over the years Allen has worked and trained with people of different ages and backgrounds. A good communicator, his personality and sense of humour builds an easy rapport with people at all levels.

Company Secretary and Administrator

Iris brings to Fairburn Lodge wide ranging business administration skills, and continues to update and improve the office side of the organisation. 

An artistic, creative person with many years experience in the world of training Iris also hopes to introduce new activities and events to Fairburn lodge, for people of all ages.
