On Sunday 10^th December, a Christmas Fair - the first event of its kind at the Centre – took place, with proceeds going to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer fund.

Over 100 visitors enjoyed the unusual variety of gifts and crafts on display - including Pebbletree Personalised Keepsakes, Scottish Fortune Cookies and Bliss Aromatherapy Oils, to name but a few.   

Delicious home made soup was available together with an opportunity to see the 74 collages on display, which were created as a fund raising project entitled “The Bra Project”.

Proceeds from the Christmas Fair, together with funds from “The Bra Project” totalled £481.82.  A cheque for this amount was forwarded to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer organisation and a certificate is now on display at the Centre in the main Reception area.

Table holders at the Christmas Fair were so delighted with the venue and the success of the day, they suggested we run a similar event in the summer months.
